I heard that cracking one's neck bone is very dangerous. It can cause cerebral embolism(脳塞栓)  so I think even young people should be careful not to crack their neck bone.

When I was a junior high school student and playing with one of my classmates, he played a bad prank on me, turning my neck so heavily because he believed he was able to do the same level of massage as a chiropractic therapist. My neck bone gave a screaming sound then.  If there had been something unfortunate, I wouldn't be writing this blog now. Oh my god!

  • In terms of International Relations Japanese are by and large straight shooters ; and so even with their best efforts they will not be able to manage a manipulative dragon with ulteriour motives. . .
  • Neo-nationalism proves to be good for politics, but bad for business. Such is the confusion of globalization.

Human-raised albatrosses lay eggs at new habitat

Japanese experts on birds say that an endangered albatross has, for the first time, laid an egg in a new breeding site on an island in the Pacific.

Researchers at the Yamashina Institute for Ornithology carefully checked video footage of the egg under a seated male albatross at a new habitat on Mukojima Island. The island is located about 1,000 kilometers south of Tokyo.

The footage was captured by NHK's remote-controlled cameras last month.

Researchers concluded that the egg was recently laid by a female mate of the male albatross as they found bloodstains on the egg. They expect the egg to hatch in about two months.

The bird is one of the human-fed chicks on Mukojima Island. They were brought from the volcanic island of Torishima, 350 kilometers to the north, and left the island later.

Some of them returned to the new breeding site on the Island last year and they were expected to lay eggs this year for the first time.

The deputy chief of the institute, Kiyoaki Ozaki, says that the objective of this project is for the birds to reproduce and keep their number at a sustainable level.

The resettlement project for the bird was launched by the Environment Ministry and the institute four years ago to protect the albatross, a government-designated natural treasure, from extinction.

《My impression》
I suppose many newspapers and TV stations who often broadcast manipulated report and stir up the feeling of Anti-US marines are likely to have been taken in by the anti-Japan organization who hates Japan or wants to rule us, such as the Communist Party in China. Japanese should be more wary; a majority of us have already been brainwashed not to be aware of looming nation's dangerous. I'm afraid to say but anti-Japan people have already built nests especially in mass media and the political world. We must be sensible when we see such things. However, I think common Chinese citizens are not so evil; The problem is the Communist Government of that country. They censor their citizens and instill oblique history and wrong information about Japan to their people.

"Okinawa governor express anger over alleged assault"

Okinawa Governor Hirokazu Nakaima has expressed strong resentment over the alleged sexual assault of a woman by 2 US servicemen in Okinawa Prefecture, saying the incident is utterly senseless.

Nakaima made the comment in a meeting with Defense Minister Satoshi Morimoto in Tokyo on Wednesday.

He urged the minister to strongly demand that the United States cooperate with investigations of the incident and step up discipline among its servicemen.

Morimoto replied that he is also extremely angry about the incident. He said the government is gravely concerned, adding that such inhumane action cannot be tolerated.

Morimoto said he believes the US military has failed to take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents. He told Nakaima that he will ask the United States to take concrete steps to strengthen discipline.

Morimoto said the government will also urge the US to move swiftly to convene a meeting of the Japan-US joint committee of foreign and defense officials to discuss the incident and how to prevent a recurrence.

【My thoughts】
Of course such a crime is NOT definitely allowable. But I'm regret to say that assaults on women by Japanese criminal also occur any place in Japan, maybe almost everyday? But why such crimes don't appear on TV, and why some news stations report every time when it was by an American serviceman in Okinawa?

Who gain profits when Japanese' anti-US sentiment soars? What if US Marines withdraw from Okinawa? Those who must be pleased is China. I happened to see the pictures that shows some  people, who was taking part in anti-US-marines events, had paper fans whose design is the same as the Chinese flag.
It is also said that part of Japanese mass-media has connection with Chinese Communist Party. It's really a shame that there are such people inside Japan.

you can see the article about this assault case written by a man of insight through this link (sorry but written in Japanese): http://www.newsweekjapan.jp/reizei/2012/10/post-490.php

Recently, I bought iPhone4S! It's my first smart phone. But I have been taken a lot of hours to get used to it. I'm often irritated with it, because things doesn't go well as I like. Of course my ex-cell phone has been already worn, but I wonder it was ever necessary for me to make use of latest, and sometimes very complicated gadgets. I like simple life. Life is short.

By the way, I noticed that the articles written down on today's Yomiuri shinbun(Japanese newspaper) seemed to be against public opinions most of which advocate NO-Nukes.

Yomiuri just worried what our convenient lives will be if all nuclear power station turn off, or that the perspective without nuclear power isn't clear. One of those who oppose independence from nuclear power are Keidanren (the Federation of Economic Organizations). Heads of that organization consist of executives of big companies. They just want to keep their interests. It's just hypocrisy they saying beautiful, plausible words if they needs nuclear power for their cause. The risk is too bad and nothing can pays it. What do you think?

Despite my previous words, I'm too busy to write this blog everyday. In my work, I'm getting deeper and deeper from just studying to do more practical jobs. It's hard, but I feel better because I feel like I can serve others little by little. And oppotunities to use English are getting increasing. I'll appreciate everyday life and enjoy all the work.

My current working time is between 7.5 and 8 hours a day. And my commuting time is a little over one hour. I think such a life schedule is not so harsher than normal Japanese workers'. But I get heavy drowsy almost every day when I come back home. Maybe I haven't been so accustomed to my current life style yet. I'm easy to get upset when I can't go home on schedule because I'm not used to working over fixed time. but one of my friends says it's usual for Japanese office workers and that it's like marathon, so I will be get accustomed to doing it. I felt contradictory feelings... I wish I got used to working overtime, but I wanna do anything but that! Further more, I'm pressed by my superior to come to the office earlier. He says "you should have at least finished e-mail checking by the fixed starting time of work." But it seems that experienced colleagues come to the office shortly before the starting time. But I'm just a fledgeling, so I think I have to make efforts more than other colleagues, at least, for some periods.
